| Our 3D Methodology defines both principles and practice. The key principle is that realisation of a business concept through development and introduction of a technology solution involves three important steps: Definition, Design and Delivery. When these three key steps are well executed the solution can be brought into operation with confidence. The methodology also explicitly addresses the key issues of transition of the solution into the business and the migration of relevant services, data or users to the new environment. |
| The 3D Methodology is sufficiently flexible to accommodate the specific characteristics of the Networks, OSS/BSS and Security solutions that comprise our offering. We have defined focused approaches for each of these based on their respective solution life cycle models. |
| We also recognise that a successful methodology must be capable of being tailored to individual customer requirements and preferences. We have structured 3D to be inherently flexible and to follow best practice in all circumstances. |
| Delivering solutions with the 3D Methodology relies on the practice of rigorous project management. We have aligned our project management approach with Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines and have developed our own tools, techniques and processes that interpret these guidelines for our business. |
